O evento foi realizado no audit\u00f3rio da unidade de sa\u00fade.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fghsaude.org.br\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/alfa-palestra.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1076\" width=\"442\" height=\"279\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fghsaude.org.br\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/alfa-palestra.jpg 700w, https:\/\/fghsaude.org.br\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/alfa-palestra-300x189.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 442px) 100vw, 442px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>O objetivo do encontro, que foi conduzido pela m\u00e9dica Alessandra Macedo, a assistente social Aiala Frederick, a psic\u00f3loga Larissa Moura, a fisioterapeuta Rebeka Moraes e a farmac\u00eautica Aline Chaves, foi explicar \u00e0 equipe multidisciplinar a defini\u00e7\u00e3o de cuidados paliativos, extinguindo informa\u00e7\u00f5es equivocadas sobre a tem\u00e1tica, conduzindo a equipe a ter um outro olhar com rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao cuidado. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Mundial da Sa\u00fade (OMS) define Cuidados Paliativos como a &#8220;assist\u00eancia promovida por uma equipe multidisciplinar, que objetiva a melhoria da qualidade de vida do paciente e seus familiares, diante de uma doen\u00e7a que ameace a vida, por meio da preven\u00e7\u00e3o e al\u00edvio do sofrimento, por meio de identifica\u00e7\u00e3o precoce, avalia\u00e7\u00e3o impec\u00e1vel e tratamento de dor e demais sintomas f\u00edsicos, sociais, psicol\u00f3gicos e espirituais\u201d (WHO, 2002).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os cuidados paliativos devem incluir as investiga\u00e7\u00f5es necess\u00e1rias para o melhor entendimento e manejo de complica\u00e7\u00f5es e sintomas estressantes tanto relacionados ao tratamento quanto \u00e0 evolu\u00e7\u00e3o da doen\u00e7a.
